We know these terms can be vague, so it's important for us to be transparent with you about this journey we're embarking on together.
At Cambaj we define sustainability with the below principles

... more details?
Ensuring our materials are not harming the planet
We work only with recycled, replanted and controlled production of raw materials.
Respect of human as much as the nature
Our products are made slowly, locally and in small quantities. Firstly because there are a lot expertise needed behind each of them, and this deserves respect and time. Second because we believe in capability building and community growth. Thirdly because avoiding waist is not an option, and ensuring you that these products won't be found at the corner of every shopping arcade.
So how exactly? By knowing and following our suppliers, and their respect of all working rules, products usage etc...
Working local
While ultimately we aspire to give back, we start small by hiring close to home to craft our products .
Recycling
We want to work with you and our supplier to reduce our waist and reuse our materials; we're not going to get there in one day but we hope to be able to update you on this topic regularly.
Closing the loop
Ultimately , 5 to 10 years down the road, we envision being able to create a small scale experiment studio where we will produce our fabrics, renew our energies, our water, our waist, transform, develop and mentor the next generations.
